Install Webvisum for Mozilla Firefox

Recently, I found a lot of blind people ask on technology forums about how to install Web visum add-on for Mozilla Firefox. Here are the steps I did to accomplish that.

  • Go to top of page, and press H until you hear: heading level 2 Search results.
  • Down arrow to find, and activate the link called Webvisum.
  • Find, and activate the link called Add to Firefox.
  • Press alt+I to activate the Install button.
  • Restart Firefox, and log in to your webvisum account.

I did that with Firefox 52 ESR, on a computer with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and Jaws 18.0. For other screen reader, the steps are similar I think.

not able to install it, when i go to the web visum and login, keeps repeating. is there a direct download to download. and when i did said it was corrupted. using firefox 72. is there a more recent version. if not web visum, what's image cpature options for the blind, using windows 10. be my eyes is no good. only have a windows 10 device.

Webvisum used to work on my laptop running Windows 10 pro 64 bit with Firefox 52.7.2esr. However, the laptop crashed its mainboard several month ago so I change to another one and has not reinstall that one because I don't need it right now. At the time I use this plugin, any version newer than 52.7.2esr were not work.
