Sao Mai VNVoice 1.0 Vietnamese speech engine final release
After one year focusing on studying, recording and developing, Sao Mai now officially releases the final version of Sao Mai VNVoiceSapi5-based speech engine. You can download from Sao Mai Software Download Page.
Some main new features of the speech engine
- Adding one more new voice named "MaiDung" with more Vietnamese words compared with the "MinhDu" voice.
- Built-in one English voice named "Daniel", supporting about 12,500 popular English words.
- Beside differentiating Vietnamese and English words, the engine can analyze non-Vietnamese words and speak in Vietnamese pronunciation method. Read more »

Web Browser - Sao Mai NetTalk
Sao Mai NetTalk is a talking web browser that support Vietnamese. Sao Mai NetTalk was developed based on the IE Engine so to run NetTalk you may need a web browser IE. NetTalk supported run on operating systems support Unicode well as the Windows Windows 98 version 2, Win 2k/XP.
The program is designed and developed for the subject who is blind. The program supports browse and read good English sites; support for hot keys to move to different web elements on the web as the title, tables, form, list ...

Sao Mai EditTalk
EditTalk is a talking editor, designed and developed for the blind. The program was developed in 2005 and is funded by corporations Juniper.
Program assists blind people in editing the text better than the previous editor NDC, including new features such as allowing the format and style with many different file, support runs well on Windows 2K / XP and many other features.
The program used the Sao Mai Voice speech engine based on Sapi5 standard. Because expense is limitted so we just developed EditTalk with the basic features in order to serve the basic needs of the blind. Read more »
Sao Mai DictTalk
Sao Mai DictTalk is a multilingual dictionary software, supporting many different dictionaries. DictTalk now is packaged that comes with Vietnamese-Vietnamese, Vietnamese-English-Vietnamese, Vietnamese-French-Vietnamese-German-Vietnamese, Russian - Vietnamese and Norwegian-Vietnamese.
DictTalk was developed based on Dict standard, www.dict.org so all data or the dictionary with Dict standard can import and use with DictTalk.
Sao Mai DictTalk uses a Sapi5 standard reader to read. Users can select their own reading voice for each different components. For example, you can choose voice to read English language for the English interface and voice to read Vietnamese or voice reading a language that for the dictionary. Read more »

This is a small utility developed by us that helps the blind easily in installing a software. This utility was developed wth the recommendation from Blind Association of Viet Nam.
General installation package Utilities including some of the main features is to allow collection of software and manage the installation; have the audio files and summary instructions text and detail for each installation; easily localization allowed.
