Sao Mai Computer Center For The Blind, after executing the mission of computer training for the blind for 1 year, has obtained the congratulating result which is the organization of two computer courses for 35 blind students completing the computer basis programs. But looking back to that result, SMCC feels its weakness, if SMCC does not find out new training solution, after next 100 years, it would train computer for just about 3,000-4000 of 100,000 blind children all over the country.

The depression has pressed the dream of Sao Mai Computer Center For The Blind that find out a way to train with the speed of geometric progression so that the Center could early help to universalize computer for the blind.
There is a Vietnamese proverb saying that “Difficulty creates the intelligence”. Indeed, Dang Hoai Phuc has offered a project “Establishing the remote computer training network for the blind”. Under the support and the assistance of the team, Dang Hoai Phuc was successful in researching, building the project and has participated in the international contest with the topic “Let live with your dreams”. And the project “Establishing the remote computer training network for the blind” has won the excellent prize with the total amount of 40,475 USD.
So, your dream has come true. With the total amount of 40,475 USD, Sao Mai Computer Center For The Blind has afforded to accomodate Blind Organization in 4 provinces which are Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Ben Tre, An Giang 4 computer rooms in order to teach the blind in 2004.
In 2005, the Center continuously connected for Hue city, and one center in HCMC.

Going to 2006, following the guidance of Standing Committee, SMCC has trained teachers and equipped Nghe An Blind People Organization, supported all the syllabus program also the technique and experiences in organizing classes. On October 15 2006, under the attention of the Leader of Province Committee – People Committee and services, departments and brances, Nghe An Blind People Organization come to the celebration of receiving the funding of computer room of HCMC Relief Association for Handicapped Children presented by Mr. Nguyen Van Chi – Former Vice President of HCMC People Committee – President of the Association, in representation for Standing Committee and the Management Board of SMCC.
Representing for Nghe An Province Committee – People Committee, Mr. Hoang Thi – Vice President very welcomed and appreciated the Association and SMCC, also decided to provide the Oranization 6 more computers in order to increase the number of the blinds that can learn computer.
In the next 3 days, Mr. Nguyen Khue – Vice president of the Association represent for the Standing Committee and Management Board of SMCC has come to Thua Thien – Hue and attended the celebration of presenting 5 computers from SMCC to Computer Center of Hue City Blind People Organization.
Collaborating with the fuding period of wheelchairs and computers, Mr. Dang Hoai Phuc – Vice Director representing for SMCC has presented 2 more Centers of function recovery for the blind of Hanoi and Da Nang city 2 sets of computers for each in order to execute the project “Building the library of digital spoken books and screen teller software for the blind”, which has participated in the international contest and has won the excellent prize with total amount of 44,535 USD.

Going to 2008, SMCC has funded by Tan Tao Group of 30 computers and Sacombank (SCB) of the total amount of 100,000,000 VND in order to execute remote computer training network program for 5 provinces which are Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Long An, Tien Giang and Binh Duong in 2008.
Could say that the dream of Sao Mai Computer Center For The Blind that expect the project “Remote computer training for the blind” has been connected all over the provinces, cities within the country has been becoming reality.
